Personal Care

We all love the safety and familiarity of our home. Domiciliary care is care provided in your own home allowing you to remain independent and safe. We can assist with a number of tasks to enable you to stay in your own home and to promote your independence.

Visits times start at 30 minutes and can be as long as you require. We put together a care plan which is specific to you and your needs as we know that everyone is different and likes things done differently.

Personal Hygiene Support

We know how important it is to look and feel nice, we also know that for some this can be timely and a struggle, we are able to assist you with showering, having a bath as well as washing and drying your hair. Having someone there can also provide reassurance whilst you shower or bath. We realise you may not want a shower everyday so can adjust visit times accordingly.

Medication

We realise that medication can be easily forgotten and have adverse effects on people’s health and wellbeing and how this can be a concern . Our trained staff are able to help with administering medication, prompting medication or assisting with taking medication. We produce individual medication charts to ensure that the right medication is given at the right time. This also enables us to record the time that the medication was taken.

Companionship

We realise that life at times can be isolating and how important it is to interact with others for our wellbeing. we are able to provide companionship whether this is a chat and a coffee, going shopping or going out for the day. pastimes.

We can supply a member of our care team to enable the main carer to have a break.
