Live Monitoring

OnePlan

A1 Home Care use a care planning roster system called “OnePlan”, this system helps support us to monitor quality and compliance.

How we use the system

  • Our office co-ordinating staff use the system to plan care staff rotas in advance.
  • We provide the client with a data tag located at their house which care staff will scan with their handset to clock in and out of visits, this gives us accurate times.
  • All information recorded on the carers handset at the visit will be automatically visible to the office in real time on the One plan system, so that we can check everything is ok and alert family of any issues.
  • One plan has a function that alerts us if a service user has missed or refused their medication.

Quick Information

  • We have a wall mounted screen in the office which allow us to monitor all visits in real time.
  • Being paper free we can amend and update any information on the system, and this is immediately updated for the carer in the field, this is especially important for changes in medication.
  • Care staff are able to access previous care notes giving them vital information for example when medication has been given previously or what someone has had to eat. As well as for instance, alerting the carer that the previous carer has put some washing on that needs to be hung out.

Family login

With consent from the person receiving care we offer a function where family can log into the Oneplan system to access the notes and information once a care visit is completed.

This can be very helpful for family that don’t live nearby or to keep a record of what someone is eating and drinking. We are happy to provide details of this service during the assessment or by calling us at the office.

Safety & Security

The Oneplan system is password protected and each member of staff has their own individual passcode, making the system compliant with the General Data Protection regulations and our own polices and procedures.

We are able to trace staff using the Oneplan system which enables us to advise clients on timing of visits and to keep our staff secure whilst working in the community and adhere to our lone working policy.
