A1 Home Care Ltd was established in 2007 by Company Directors Patrick O’Callaghan and John Baker.
Through their own personal experiences both Patrick and John recognised the real need to develop a loyal care agency which could provide a true commitment to their Service Users and their families.
Together and with the dedication of the rest of the A1 Home Care team, they have created a first-class quality Domiciliary Care Agency whose main focus is to deliver outstanding quality care and support services specifically tailored to the individual needs of each and every one of their vulnerable service users.

In August 2009 the Directors employed a new Registered Care Manager, Carol Armstrong, who like themselves has also had close personal experience of the care environment and its associated issues.
Upon hearing Patrick and John’s proposal to set up a second to none user focused agency with a vision for nothing but the best for the people using its services, Carol had the same vision for such a service and after a few months of planning Carol took over the Management position within the Company and the care agency has gone from strength to strength and has recently gained an outstanding 3 star excellence award from CQC (Care Quality Commission).
Prior to joining A1, Carol worked locally with a well-respected care company for over 11 years, the last 4 of which she was their Registered Manager. Throughout that time Carol has always maintained her high levels of commitment and remains dedicated to providing the highest standard of care/support to every single service user.
A1 Home Care Ltd, is now very well established and with daily referrals coming from, Age Concern, Social Services, Essex County Council, Doctors Surgeries, District Nurses local hospitals (Private and NHS) amongst others, we constantly improve the way care provision is delivered to our service users.
