Staff Training
Training :- All our staff are trained to the CSCI National Standards and updated
on a regular basis. We have a training programme in place ensuring all of our carer workers and telephone personal are
trained as soon as their employment commences with us. Also all our carer workers will be placed on a NVQ
Level II course (free of charge to all our carer workers), although a majority of care workers will have attained
this qualification already. All staff will be friendly, professional and smart at all times and will endevour to
deliver first class care and support to every individual service user on each and every visit.
All our staff members are carefully selected, obtaining two professional
references and the completion of a CRB check, all staff are trained before being placed with a service
user. The training for all care workers consists of supervised induction which includes First Aid, Health and Safety,
Moving & Handling, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, and up dated regularly, Care overview and shadowing out in the community
with an experienced care worker.

All our care staff work very efficiently on there own but are also trained to work as a team and
complement each other very well when working in pairs.
The Carers’ Role
Our carers are a companion for the client and can attend to duties such as personal care, cooking and light
domestic work and, depending on the client’s fitness and wishes could also provide transportation and company to appointments
and days out.
Some clients need extra care and sometimes continuous care. In these cases, a carer or a team of carers
will give the closest support necessary in order to allow the client to continue to live at home in a safe and comfortable
environment with all the required care provided by the dedicated team.

registered care manager is Carol Armstrong
CARE MANAGER The care
manager has achieved her NVQ level III and Registered Managers Award (RMA)
and achieved a vast number of relevent courses. .
